At a time when immigration policy and public discourse are rapidly evolving, AAAYA is launching a new virtual lecture series to help our community better understand the current landscape and its impact on AANHPI communities.
Throughout the Spring and Summer of 2026, we will host conversations with leading scholars, advocates, and practitioners. In conjunction with this series, AAAYA is proud to announce the award of two Tina Yeh Fellowships in 2026. Each fellowship will provide $7,500 to support a Yale student’s summer service at organizations doing critical immigration related work on behalf of AANHPI communities: Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAAJ) and Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Minneapolis. Leaders from both organizations will speak as part of the lecture series about their missions and community advocacy work.
All sessions are free and open to Yale alumni, students, faculty, and friends.
AAAYA is proud to bring forward programming that informs, connects, and mobilizes our community. Initiatives like this are made possible through the generosity of our members. If you are able, we encourage you to support AAAYA’s work by making a donation.
