AAAYA SoCal & Ivy+ Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with a Night at the Theater!

A resounding cheer for AAPI Heritage Month!

A tremendous thank you goes out to Michelle Kim—proud UPenn alum and member of the Board of Advisors for East West Players—for graciously inviting AAAYA SoCal and the broader Ivy+ network last month to an unforgettable evening of theater and multi-school networking!

The group headed to the beautiful Aratani Theatre at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center in downtown Los Angeles to enjoy a spectacular production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song. The event provided the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and honor the month's festivities. Celebrations did not stop at curtain call, and the party continued into the night with a post-show meetup at Far Bar in Little Tokyo.

Here's to a wonderful season of celebrating heritage and building community!
