NorCal AAAYA Annual Summer Picnic 2026
Our annual AAAYA NorCal Summer Picnic brought together incoming students, current students, alumni, parents, and friends for a beautiful afternoon in Redwood Shores. It was the perfect opportunity for our newest Yalies to meet members of the Yale community before heading off to New Haven this fall. AAAYA NorCal Annual Lunar New Year Potluck 2026
We had a wonderful time Sunday 2/8 celebrating the Lunar New Year together again on the rooftop terrace of a fellow alum's place in San Francisco! We were very fortunate as always to have a beautiful sunny day for the event. Alums enjoyed an array of dim sum, home-cooked meals, pastries, and dessert. It was a great time seeing old faces and meeting new friends. Cheers to a prosperous year of the horse!
AAAYA and H4A Lunch Reception for SF Opera "The Monkey King"
On Sunday 11/16 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM , the Association of Asian American Yale Alumni NorCal and Harvard Asian American Alumni Alliance-Bay Area hosted a fireside chat lunch reception with the Director, Diane Paulus , and General Director of the SF Opera Company, Matthew Shivlock , before the world premiere run of THE MONKEY KING, a new opera by composer Huang Ro and Librettist, David Henry Hwang.
