For over fifteen years, this program has encouraged Yale students and recent graduates to become involved in community service through summer internships.
Yale Community Service Summer Fellowship
AAAYA’s New York City chapter offers two paid summer internships at nonprofit organizations serving the Asian-American community. Each year AAAYA New York chooses the two organizations. The competitive application process occurs in the spring and is coordinated by AACC.
Spring Break Externship Program
The Yale AACC’s Spring Break Externship is an annual program that matches promising Yale undergraduates with alumni in their prospective fields for one-week unpaid externship during the first week of Yale’s spring break. Our externships are in sectors ranging from technology to education to finance, and our externs come from a variety of academic and geographic backgrounds. The Externship Program is a great chance for alumni to mentor current Yale students and the perfect opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience in different career fields.
