2026 Annual SoCal Summer Picnic

On July 18th, the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Asian American Yale Alumni (AAAYA) brought the Yale spirit to South Pasadena for our Annual SoCal Summer Picnic!

It was an absolute blast welcoming our newest Bulldogs. We loved meeting SO MANY incoming students and their families, and catching up with current Yalies and local alumni. The whole event was buzzing with energy, new connections, and plenty of Boola pride as we celebrated the Class of 2030!

One highlight was hearing directly from our incoming students! We learned about their residential college assignments, their planned majors, and the extracurriculars they can’t wait to dive into on campus.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out, swapped favorite Yale memories, brought incredibly delicious food, and helped make our community feel so vibrant. Also, a special shoutout to the Yale Alumni Association for their generous support in bringing this event to life with delicious tacos and all the awesome swag!
