2022 Tina E. Yeh Fellow Presentation: Solidarity in Transience

Updated: Nov 23, 2023

Supported by the Association of Asian American Yale Alumni's Tina E. Yeh Community Service Fellowship, Chong Gu '23 M.Arch II spent their summer organizing with Red Canary Song in the streets of Queens. At an event hosted by Yale's Asian American Cultural Center, they discussed their experience sharing space, mourning loss and building solidarity with the Asian migrant massage worker community.

Since the early 1990's, Tina E. Yeh Community Service Fellowship has encouraged Yale undergraduates and recent graduates to become involved in community service through summer internships. The fellowship will award a grant of up to $5,000 or Yale students who will intern for 10 weeks at a non-profit organization that serves Asians (in the U.S. or Canada). The current deadline for this year's application is April 10, 2023.
