As you may already know, AAAYA works with the Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) at Yale each year to find sponsors for the AACC Spring Break Externship Program. This program matches promising Yale undergraduates with alumni for one-week unpaid externships during spring break, March 13-17, 2017.
This year, the AACC would like to include sponsors from a wide variety of disciplines. We hope to encourage students to pursue their interests by exposing them to careers ranging from natural science to humanities, from grassroot volunteering to political journalism, etc. With your help, we are confident that students will connect what they learn in the classroom with the real world. At the same time, sponsoring an externship is a great opportunity for you to mentor current Yale students and to engage them in your field. Previous sponsors have found the experience extremely rewarding, and we hope you will consider joining us.
