Flushing, NY, Asian Community Walking Tour

Alumni and undergrads joined Mark Lee as he led a tour of Flushing, NY’s bustling Asian-American community on Saturday, June 28, 2008. Participants learned the long history of Flushing, from Dutch Colony to New York suburb to pan-Asian community and finished with naeng myun (cold noodles), a perfect Korean delicacy for a hot summer day! Special thanks to Andrea Sohn for helping organize the tour.
