Join us for a “Master’s Chai” with the Honorable Donna M. Ryu, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of California. The event will be held on October 7th at 6:30 PM at the Offices of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, One Embarcadero Center, 30th floor, in San Francisco (map).
Magistrate Judge Ryu graduated from U.C. Berkeley School of Law and entered private practice before co-founding a civil rights law firm in Oakland. From 2002 until her appintment as a magistrate judge earlier this year, Magistrate Judge Ryu was a professor in the Civil Justice Clinic of U.C. Hastings College of the Law.
Come hear Magistrate Judge Ryu discuss in an informal atmosphere her rich history of experiences, including her time at Yale, being Asian American, being an openly lesbian federal judge, and some of her viagrabuynow professional accomplishments.
