Join AAAYA Chicago and the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of the JASC for the Asian pop cinema Chicago premier of “I am Monk” a meditative comedy in Japanese with English subtitles. There will be a Q&A with the director Yukinori Makabe at the theater afterwards. Please note there is only one showing in downtown Chicago and buying the tix through our link will give you access to the discount we got on a limited number of group tix ($15 instead of $20 single tix). Plus our group will be able to have drinks with Makabe and his translator at a nearby bar TBD at 10pm!
