Yale Career Panels-Alternative Investing, Sept. 26, 2024

This event is the 62nd in a series of events covering different professions and career issues. There have been 51 Yale Career Panels, 9 Yale Career Fireside Chats and 1 Yale Career Conversations events. Organized 13 years ago by a group of Yale alumni volunteers, these panels strive to provide candid, unvarnished views of featured professions.

Alternative Investing has been a mainstay in the field of investing but has been particularly popular as an investment category by institutions, pension funds and the investing public for its returns and as a way to diversify investment portfolios.

This panel will focus on three of the major categories of Alternative Investing: Private equity, hedge funds and family offices.
