About the Event

Join AAAYA DC on this National Day of Remembrance of Japanese American Incarceration During World War II.

Events are held on or near February 19, the day in 1942 that Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, requiring imprisonment of all Americans of Japanese ancestry.

We'll meet at the Smithsonian American History Museum on Constitution Ave., NW, between 12th and 14th Streets, at the Coulter Performance Plaza, 1 West. The performance program is free.

Wear something Yale so we may recognize each other at the museum.
