Join us for a casual meet and greet at the Elevated Acre with the newly admitted Class of 2029 students!
The Elevated Acre is a one-acre meadow flanked by delightfully designed gardens and plantings elevated above the city streets. Its entrance is fairly anonymous, an escalator at 55 Water Street, set back from the sidewalk. The secretive urban oasis features a lawn, an amphitheater, winding paths of Brazilian hardwood, spectacular views of the East River, Brooklyn, and the Brooklyn Bridge. This elevated one-acre park is one of Manhattan’s most relaxing secrets.
This is a great opportunity to network with friendly alums, meet old and new friends, and to provide a warm welcome to the pre-frosh. Children, parents and friends of Yalies are not only welcome, but are encouraged to join in the fun.
We'll have some light refreshments and snacks available!
