About the Event

Future Directions and Policy Options A Webinar with Representative Liz Lee, ThaoMee Xiong, and Anjuli Cameron

Minnesota State Representative Liz Lee, a legislative leader dedicated to elevating Asian American voices in policy-making, will be leading a panel with ThaoMee Xiong (CAAL) and Anjuli Cameron (SEWA-AIFW) to provide a forward-looking analysis of immigration advocacy. This panel explores the critical intersection of legislative action and community organizing. Xiong will share insights on harnessing intergenerational collective power to tackle economic and immigrant justice, while Cameron brings a vital perspective on the health and safety needs of South Asian immigrants, spanning from domestic violence advocacy to elder care. Together, they will outline actionable strategies for building more equitable and comprehensive immigration policies.
